How to give a focused performance

  • Begin your day with a good and healthy breakfast. Post that have a look at your days schedule and prioritise your work. Prioritising ones work helps you focus on one thing at a time you're your day moves smoothly.
  • Enjoy your work as it adds an element of enthusiasm.
  • Work at a steady pace without overtaxing your mind.
  • Plan your day as it helps in an organized smooth work flow
  • Set time limits for yourself and abide by it. It helps you keep a check on your work consistency.
  • Keep yourself tidy and groomed as it creates a feel good factor.
  • Keep a track on how you spent your day. It helps you know the quality time you spent on what’s important and what’s not.
  • Listening to light soothing music increases the focus levels as it relaxes the mind.
  • In case of tensed situations, use the switch on and switch off policy.
  • Take breaks from your work environment so you are not over saturated.
  • When you find yourself losing focus, get up and take a walk. This will get your heart rate up, increase your alertness, and give your mind a chance to work on the problem internally.
  • Set a regular bed time for yourself and use an evening routine to wind down so you don’t have trouble sleeping. Oversleeping disrupts your natural rhythm and leads to grogginess. Avoid this by having a set wake up time.
