6 Energy drinks to beat the heat and fatigue

Here are some different shakes and juices to provide instant energy and rejuvenation, to keep you going through the dayjuice

Mint Juice

Ingredients:
1 cup Mint leaves (Pudhina)
1 lemon
Jaljeera powder as per taste
Salt as per taste
Honey as per taste
1 glass cold water

Method:
Wash and clean the mint leaves well and cut them finely. Squeeze one lemon and add some jaljeera powder, salt and honey as per taste. Blend the above mixture. Add a glass of cold water and give one small spin in the blender. Your mint juice is ready to help you beat the heat and fatigue.

Lauki Juice

Ingredients:
1 lauki (about 500gm) peeled and sliced
1" piece ginger
Rock salt to taste
8-10 Pudhina leaves
Half a lemon squeezed
Skin of 1 apple

Method:
Put all the above ingredients in a juicer and blend them together. Strain the mixture and serve immediately. This drink is not only refreshing but helps in cleaning the system too.

Mango Energy Drink

Ingredients:
3 Mangoes, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1-inch chunks
1 cup organic vanilla yogurt (lime flavoured is great)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
2 cups of ice

Method:
Peel, pit and cut the mangoes into 1 inch chunks. Place the yogurt, mangoes, lime, sugar and ice in a blender and blend it till it becomes a smooth shake. Pour into a tall glass and drink for some instant energy.

Berry Juice

Ingredients
¼ cup cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
1 container (8 ounces) low-fat blueberry yogurt
½ cup frozen blueberries

Method:
In a blender, pour the cranberry juice, yogurt, and blueberries. Blend the mixture till it is smooth and frothy. Pour into 1 tall glass. The very berry flavour gives a cooling effect.

Banana Strawberry Milk Shake

Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 banana cut into pieces
Frozen strawberries
1 spoon peanut butter
2 spoons jam (any flavour)

Method:
Blend the above ingredients in a blender till the mixture is smooth. Pour it into a tall glass and your natural energy drink is ready to be had.

Mixed Fruit Shake

Ingredients:
Frozen strawberries
3 Mangoes
8 ounces Yogurt
Mixed Berries
1 spoon peanut butter
1 glass apple juice

Method:
Cut the Mangoes into small pieces. Then mix the above ingredients in a blender. Pour into a tall glass and serve. Your energy packed drink is ready, to get you going through the day.
